Day 8

Englischer Garten

Day 8 promises to be an exciting and energizing experience as we explore the beautiful city along the River Isar on E-bikes. We’ll kick off our journey at Flaucher and make our way towards the English Garden, with plenty of opportunities to take in the sights and sounds around us.

Along the route, we’ll stop at the Eisbach to watch surfers ride the waves, a truly fascinating sight! After this invigorating experience, we’ll relax over lunch at the China Tower, where we can recharge our energy and share our thoughts on the day so far.

Once we’ve enjoyed our meal, we’ll take a moment to unwind by Kleinhesseloher Lake. It’s a peaceful spot that allows us to connect with nature before we head to Schwabing to visit the Siegestor, a significant landmark steeped in history.

Next, we’ll wander through the Hofgarten, situated behind the Residence. The serene atmosphere will lead us along Brienner Street, culminating at the historic Königsplatz.

While this magnificent square has a complex past, it now serves as a vibrant space, housing the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and the Museum of Casts of Classical Statues, as well as the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte.

After a day filled with exploration and cultural enrichment, we’ll return our bikes and head to one of the most beloved beer gardens, the Augustiner, close to the Oktoberfest site. It’ll be a wonderful chance to relax and reflect on our day together.

I’m looking forward to sharing this adventure with you!
