Maria purchased the "Schwaighof" for 10,000 guilders. Upon the birth of his son, Crown Prince Max Emanuel, he gifted the Schwaighof to his wife, Adelaide of Savoy, and commissioned the construction of the palace in 1664.
Max Emanuel later played a significant role in the palace's expansion. For a long time, Nymphenburg served as the summer residence of the Wittelsbach family and is now one of Germany's most famous sights, along with its palace park. The Schwaige Castle Inn has been part of the palace complex since 1714.
Once we are ready, we will continue our journey to one of the most well-known beer gardens in Munich for a relaxed afternoon enjoying a "Mass" of beer while watching the deer. This beer garden is the largest in the world!
Between the park and the deer enclosure, you will find both a serviced area and a self-service area. From the first rays of sunshine, we offer delicious Wirtshaus dishes and Bavarian classics, including a daily changing menu.
When you are ready, we will return to the hotel, allowing you to enjoy the evening at your own pace.
